This started as an intermittent fault, after several hours of wiggling, during the really hot Summer of 2022. Now it's back almost from power-up.
As per the title: the output of Channel 1 is weak. I use Mutes almost exclusively for switching triggers and gates. The LED on Channel 1 is dimmer than the others and not enough signal gets through to trigger, for example. Pico Drums or a Zadar envelope.
The fault first manifests a few minutes after 'opening' Channel 1 - there is sufficient signal to start with (although the LED still looks dimmer than the others), but then it appears to die away. After that, if you close the channel and leave it for a few minutes before opening it again, the signal will be strong for 6-8 beats, but then die away again.
I've tried separating and reseating the boards with a few drop of Deoxit D5 applied to the header sockets, but to no avail.
Where should I be looking for the cause of this fault? Is it an automatic vactrol replacement, or maybe something simpler?
