Been trying to look into this but never am able to see anybody that has tested different avenues of what they think is the best way to output their audio from the rack to interface/mixer. I have output modules that i use like transmit 2 and intellijel outs which work for me but still curious is anyone finds running out of a vca straight to interface preserves full dynamic range or better audio fidelity than what an output module would do especially transformer based which can color the sound. Also, i have read people going straight out of their mixer modules into a di box and then into their audio interface/mixer which to me should work very well. Any thoughts and opinions are very welcome espexially if you have had the chance to test these different avenues and what you prefer the most. Thanks guys.
