There is noise leaking from the LEDs since modding, here's what I did:
Replaced the LEDs with new red ones as they were pretty dim (much brighter now)
Changed a few tactile switches
Jumpered some damaged tracks
Installed individual outs
Added BD decay/pitch
Added SD decay/pitch/noise filter
The more LEDs that are lit at any one time, the more intense the noise.
The switch board appears to be a replacement with nasty stiff breakable wires going to the main board.
Cables to individual outs are shielded, wires to mod pots are not.
I have read that a tech in Australia has a mod for reducing noise, but he doesn't say what it is. Someone else says they moved the ground cable on the switch board to a different location and shielded it. Another says they soldered a big awg wire from the output ground to the main board ground.
Not sure where to start my my gut says a gounding/shielding issue. Anyone had this problem before?
Thanks in advance
