1U & 3U Eurorack Modules • Can I chain two MI Stages harmonic oscillators?

I currently have one MI Stages running qiemem's alternative firmware and I mainly use it in the harmonic oscillator mode:

I am considering buying a Verbos Harmonic Oscillator again. I had originally sold it because I don't like how gritty the sound is. I know a lot of people really love it though. I had originally replaced it with the MI Stages as a harmonic oscillator because I could control it better, but now I desire more harmonics, FM, and dedicated Square, Saw, and Triangle outs. I can do away with Square, Saw, and Triangle outs for now.

I have two questions:

Can I chain two MI Stages using qiemem's firmware for double the harmonics?

Also, can I add a precision offset/mixer to add FM to MI Stages or any oscillator for that matter? If not, how can I add FM?

Of course I could always write my own firmware or design my own module, but that'll be a project for much later down the road. I know the firmware page says that chaining them together is untested, but if anyone has tried it or has two with qiemem's firmware I think it would be interesting to know.
