In the past I owned both the FFB (Mos-Lab) and the ResEQ (in eurorack with styroflex capacitors, though I'm not sure if they add anything to the sound).
I've sold most of my eurorack and now I'm contemplating whether I should get the ResEQ in MU format or fill 2 units with an another 'unique' filter. They do sound somewhat different—especially since the ResEQ can be patched into itself and pinged, making it a standalone percussion tool. However, their main function is to 'musically' shape the sound for recording, which feels redundant. I’m curious to hear opinions from those who have used or are familiar with both modules.
