1U & 3U Eurorack Modules • The perfect 909 ride does not exist...or does it?

Hey all,

Looking hard for that 'perfect' performable 909 ride for my live case. I have a TR8 and TR8S, and while I adore those machines so much, I do not want to pack one of them to a gig literally just to use the ride cymbal. Yet, I haven't been able to find anything that nails the performability of the ride on those machines in euro form yet. 3 needs - Perfect sound, perfect tuning up and down, and decay.

Tried -

TipTop Cymbl909 - Perfect in all ways BUT no decay is dumb.

Erica Cymbals - First sound bank is close but it's not IT. Also the up and down tuning just doesn't match the smoothness of the TR8/S

WMD Crucible - This baby is badass yet nowhere near what I'm looking for.


Have not tried yet have scoped out and still don't fit the bill -

Modular For The Masses 909 CRC - No decay


Is not released and I see nothing about it on their website and they haven't been active in months but this looks like the perfect thing!!!!! -

Any thoughts, recommendations are welcome.

Yes purists, I know I can 'roll my own'. I don't want to. Also, the 909 cymbal is a sample and I prefer not to have a sampler in my rig. I'm genuinely looking for one lovely module that I'm unaware of that can fit this bill!
