I have a case of mostly tiptop buchla modules with some doepfer modules as well. Case is an ancient doepfer g6 (originally came with a psu1, upgraded to a psu2).
I find when I am patching, I sometimes get a weird kind of "crosstalk" between modules. Depending on what's plugged in to a patch, it seems that while inserting cables while sequences are playing/sound is happening, other modules connected in the patch respond in weird ways. For example, patching modules that are connected down the line from one module might cause signal to pause, or an envelope to randomly retrigger. It's hard to explain.
Is this normal? Or could it be an issue with my power supply or busboards? Sorry if this post is a bit rambling.
