I'm trying to make a really flexible stereo effects send for a live setup I'm working on. Basically the setup is a sampler and an effects chain. I was initially thinking of a multi effects unit, but there are so many options. Here are the dedicated multi effects that jumped out as obvious choices:
Analog Heat + FX
Hologram Chroma Console
Endorphines Ghost Pedal
Enjoy Electronics Reminder
Eventide H90
Ensoniq DP4
Maybe dedicated multi effects units are overrated? Just chaining a bunch of single purpose stereo pedals could be great.
Maybe making my own eurorack stereo effects chain in a little case is going to be better than any of these? (I've never used modular stuff as a strictly outboard effects unit)
Anyone have really general thoughts and experiences going down this rabbit hole? There are obviously tons of threads discussing this vs that, but I haven't found as many discussing it at a really high level.
