Just got a used Erbe-Verb and I noticed a prominent D# resonance (maybe slightly sharper) that’s there regardless of the settings, though it’s particularly noticeable with Size at 2 ‘o clock and below.
It gets lost in a mix, but it can clearly be heard when playing sparse notes.
I’m attaching a sample of a snare and a piano going through the module fully wet. The last two notes are me modulating Pre-Delay. Notice that there are no D# or E notes in the piano sequence.
I don’t see how this could be a fault of my unit. Is it just there in all Erbe-Verbs?
On the other hand, none of my other modules have this, including Mimeophon and the reverb on Beads.
My system is powered by an L-2 PSU and LIBB board which have never given me any issue.
