Expert Sleepers • ES10 Question for Os

I am thinking of adding the ES10 to my ES8/6 current set up.

Is my understanding correct for the following.

I want to use the IO on the ES10 for when I am working in the DAW and want to send out some stuff to be processed through my eurorack filters, effects compressors etc.

The idea would be to connect to ES10 via ADAT to the Motu Ultralite Mk4 ADAT In and Out.

Mess about with my audio in my Eurorack and pipe back into Abelton. Can I set the Audio back in at Line Level?

Then once I have recorded my manipulated audio in Ableton I can send out the audio at line level through the analog outs of the Motu into my SSL Six.

Would that work please?

Would this setup make my ES8/ES6 redundant? By this I mean, when I am not sending audio from the DAW I could just use the inputs and outputs in the same way I would use the ES8/ES6. I generally use CV Tools to convert midi from Ableton to CV/Gate using CV tools for 4 tracks and then record that audio from my Eurorack back into Ableton
