I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue but I thought I'd throw it out there to see if it's something I might be able to fix. I recently tried to power the CQ2 with a 9V battery. None of the lights came on and I couldn't detect any audible output. After a minute or so the battery became really hot, to the point where I could barely hold it for more than a second. I tried the same 9V battery on the Plumbutter 2 and that seemed to work fine. The CQ2 works fine with the 12V barrel adapter on mains power. Hoping someone can offer some insight on this one.
