Hey all
So… I used search… I also scanned the official manual. It describes features but not what would help me track down my issue.
My 225e has the newer outboard with the (I believe non implemented USB) and the 3.5mm MIDI in.
I tried to send notes to it using an MPC Live II as well as my Linnstrument.
The “MIDI in” led never flashes, and setting up one of the busses (E) to the correct channel (1) does not help.
The ribbon connector only goes one way, so I know that’s hooked up correctly. The outboard has 2 connectors, which I tried, but I know which one it was plugged in when I got it so I’m leaving it there (along the narrow edge at one end of the PCB)
I even tried 2 different MIDI cables just in case.
Is there some menu / settings I’m missing? I just selected a bus and set it to the right channel to no avail. Again the main “MIDI in” LED is not flashing anyway.
Mmhhh. I know it’s my fault of course and the solution is obvious haha… but thanks for any thoughts
