I added voltage dividers on the start, length and sample inputs so they would respond to 0-10V and pull-down resistors are needed on a couple of the inputs because bananas. The circuit is otherwise unchanged. I made a few poor design choices (all noted in the BOM) but everything works and is super fun.
I mostly tried to stick to the parts that came in the kit but I switched to SMD components for some of the basic parts to make routing easier. I tried getting all the SMD parts assembled by JLCPCB for the first time which worked out great and was quite inexpensive. (5 pcbs with all SMD assembled and 10 pcb panels was $35 + shipping.)
I’ve had quite a few samplers in my day but I’ve never had one in my modular before and it’s quite a treat. I’ve attached the files needed in case you want to make one for yourself.
