Hello all, sorry for the n00b sentiment, i hope the title is self explanatory.
I have a eurorack VCO with no reset function and want to use it for fast basslines. in order to do this i really need to get rid of the VCA-filter clicks and it would be great for its waves to behave the same every time the vca opens n closes rather than the ever-running uncontrollable wave.
will it reset itself every time i send voltage in the V/Oct input? is this a generaly what happens? meaning, will the wave start on zero crossing every time it receives V/OCT voltage?
the only way i can think of to tame it and have the same wave, at the same cycle instance every time a note is triggered, is to sample it and zero cross it. different approach for sure. another solution, the WMD DVCA but i dont like for various reasons, particulardly the latency it introduces.
i dont have the system infront of me and cannot test it on the DAW at the moment so it would be really helpful if someone answered the question of the thread title or provide a different approach rather than sampling the waves?
thanx for your time on just reading all that![thumbs up :tu:]()
