I would like some advice on which mics are recommended for creating soundscapes. For a podcast I need to make soundscapes soon. This will include by the sea. And in the countryside. I want to record the spaciousness of these places. I think this will be best in stereo. Right now I have a Zoom H4N Pro + RØDE NTG2 shotgun mic.
I was thinking of buying an additional RØDE NTG2 myself for stereo. Or will that disappoint when I go for spaciousness?
Or are you guys more likely to recommend something like SE Electronics SE8? Or should I just try it with the stereo mics on the Zoom H4N pro itself?
