I’m getting some strange interaction when connecting the Social Entropy Engine and the MC-2oh2. I have the 2oh2 clock set to Din Sync, running the Engine as the master.
It syncs beautifully and I can pass Din Sync around to other devices, no problem. However, when I try to make any CV connections to the Engine, it introduces a very distinct whining noise throughout the system —even if I have the 2oh2 powered off. If I unplug the din sync cable, the noise disappears.
I’m able to connect the Engine to other Din sync destinations and use CV without any problems.
I’ve tried different cables and all sorts of power isolation, wiring topologies, etc. but to no avail. If anyone has had any similar issues, please advise.
