I just published a new release over on Bandcamp (see signature below) with a lot of Tyme Sefari MKII and Zorlon Cannon MKII on it, partnering up with a Make Noise Phonogene.
I was amazed to find the Phonogene shares a lot of DNA (to my ears at least) with the Tyme Sefari. I had initially just planned to test the Phonogene I had acquired in a trade, but that instead turned into two months of regular recording once patched in with the TS (and later a Holocene NLMM as well) for buffer manipulation and discontinuity.
I find the Phonogene sounds lovely with the buffer set very slow, recorded material inherits the low sampling rate and artifacts and fits well with the Tyme Sefari.
