I've been noticing more mixers (many are pretty high end) with knobs for channel levels instead of sliders. My question is: why would you prefer knobs and do you always prefer being wrong?
Just kidding about the mean judgmental part, but, I am confused.
I can understand knobs for mini mixers since they take up less space, but I don't understand why a decent sized mixer that costs a few thousand dollars would use knobs instead of sliders. Sliders seem superior for both visual/physical feedback about the channel levels and the ability to simultaneously adjust multiple sliders at the same rate.
