Hi guys,
Finally getting round to using my uTune after a brief use in a project a few years ago.
But I’m really struggling with the basic understanding of how the root is handled. No problem learning machines in depth but I seem to have a mental block with this!
Just using for 12TET currently and I’ve tuned all of my oscillators, and performed VCO Calibration, they are all tracking across their available ranges for my uses. Each octave within <1 cent +/- which is great. And 1V = C, 2V = C etc so all good to go.
Now the track I want to use the quantising in is G# Minor - so I simply want to shift the root in the scale from C to G# without having to manually tune each oscillator.
I have moved the centre note in the scale mapping to a G# but now the second note (set to major second) is an A? Extremely baffled by this and any advice proceeding would be appreciated as it’s got me![😵💫]()
