This is going to be hard to resist at the intro price of about $25 USD.
Love the drum sounds on Keith LeBlanc/Adrian Sherwood productions and things like Cabaret Voltaire's "Code" album (think they primarily used an Emu SP-12, but some of the samples on tracks like "Here To Go" sure sound like they came from a DMX). Blue Monday was probably the most well known example of DMX drums of course.
Developed in association with Oberheim. Master bus Multimode Filter, Distortion, Compression. Delay and Reverb per channel sends. Includes sounds from the original and all additional chip sets. No integrated sequencing, but easy enough to do that in any DAW (and the DMX wasn’t known for its sequencer quirks or features like some drum machines were anyway). Also, a bunch of classic groove midi files are provided. Free 7-day trial download link on their site if you want to check it out first (midi drum patterns not included).
