I've been experimenting with floating ground supplies using W-T5000 power bricks. Two should give you roughly +/- 5amps of draw. I have a pair that are acceptably quiet. I ordered another pair that looked a little different, and those were too noisy, so I found a set that looks exactly like the quiet ones I have:
But these are also too noisy. Does anyone know the trick to finding reliably quiet ones?
I have one distribution board that, when using the quiet supply bricks has very low noise when monitoring via a simple test module. When I swap the bricks, the output of that test module has audible noise - nothing else changes.
