Has anyone tried both of these and have something to say about it?
I want a kick that i can sequence to alternate between loud thumpy kick and high pitched chirpy sounds as a snare type hit.
from what I can see in demos and manuals, people are getting a broader range of sounds from Kickall, whereas Battering Ram seems to have more controls, presets etc (though both of them annoyingly have no CV control over envelope depth, which means you have to use external envelopes to alternate between kicks and chirps).
I’ve read people complain that kickall is too quiet and lacks punch - i played with it a bit, and at first i felt the same way, but then found that i could get very loud punchy kicks out of it with the right settings.
