So I’ve been itching for a new mixer to mix oscillators before filters and vca(running a more or less traditional signal path). Recently I’ve been thinking for a few more hp I can get a VCA with a mix output and have CV control over all inputs.
Any downsides to doing this? My only hang up at the moment is the VCA is linear but I’m not sure that matters so much.
For the record the mixer is the A-138j that inverts and has on/off/invert switches and multiple output options vs the A-135-2. I already have the matrix mixer for blending CV and audio for modulation so that is covered in this case.
