I had a kind of breakthrough this weekend: an antilog generator that is temperature stable without external compensation.
TL;DR
Years and years of "upside down" thinking with the "offset-and-invert" conceptualization with LM3900 current-based circuit design lead to well, more of the same thought process. In this case, "offset-and-invert" conceptualization with LM324 voltage-based design, but also on a single supply voltage. This was in the service of creating a VCCS -- to use with the LM3900, for the classic AN-72 type of VCO. But the key single supply voltage adder-subtractor circuit used in the VCCS led me to that same circuit used instead in a novel form of an antilog generator. The antilog generator has limitations, but mostly, it actually works
