Hi, I'm fairly new to the whole modular scene and have a question regarding my next purchase. I have been using a 0-Coast as my one and only synth for the past year. I have no modular racks or anything lying around. The only thing I have next to my 0-Coast is a Komplete Kontrol a49 and my DAW. Using the A49 as my midi input for the 0-Coast has been a disaster considering I have to use a MIDI Interface for it to all work. Additionally to that, I have been feeling the need for a sequencer in my setup for some time now. Initially I was thinking of getting a 0-ctrl to pair with the 0-coast but have been recommended otherwise by a lot of people. I can't really afford anything more than 500-550 Euros at this point. Most people recommended me to check out the Arturia stuff and I think I have been convinced. I would like to get rid of my midi interface if possible as well. That gives me two options with really similar price point. I can either go with a Keystep Pro or I could get a beatstep pro plus a keystep 37 for a really similar experience. As far as I know both these setups would have really similar capabilities which makes the decision even harder for me. I think I could need the pads provided by the BSP in the future so I don't wanna decide early on if I wanna get something that has them or not. Buying both the BSP and the KS37 would give me both options (pads and keys) when needed. On the other hand having the ability to do polyphonic sequencing with the KSP also sounds pretty dope. At this point I have no clue which one suits me better. If anyone has any recommendations regarding that, it would be really useful. Also if I'm missing anything with the comparison between the two options please let me know since that might help me with the decision as well.
