I'm not asking for any life lessons or advice, I just want to hear from some people who experience this:
There are occasional times when there are issues to track down in a patch when something/things go awry and it takes so much time, so instead of working on it for who knows how long I just decide I want to make the music and I shut off my eurorack and turn on my DAW and use a regular synth (if I want that). I mostly do musical work on my eurorack as far as performances, and the patches get very complicated, so tracking down issues can sometimes be very tiring when I get to that point. But even on simple patches when I'm using it for my composing or sound design work, when problems arise I occasionally feel the same way.
It doesn't happen very often because the work involved is usually part of the fun of modular for me. But there are some times like right now when the thought flashes through my mind: "Why am I doing this, again??".
Again: PLEASE, no life lessons or advice...I simply would like to hear from those of you who also have this kind of experience and can relate. I just need even a little bit of camaraderie here.![lol ]()
