Hello all, I'm relatively new to modular synthesis. Only been in it for a few months, and I have the desire for polyphony from pressing a single note. The way I envision it working, is through a buffered mult, then into a volt per octave pitch shifter, then a pitch quantizer to keep it all in scale.
But when I search "Pitch shifter" all that comes up is a device that shifts the pitch of audio. Like, a sampler, or granular effect.
I just want a device that lets me go plus or minus as many semitones as I want (Within reason) of the volt per octave signal. Im 100% certain this device exists, but I don't know what it's called.
