I have the chance of acquiring a used Plonk, at module that interested me for some time. However, I am wondering how much it would add to a rack that already features a Zaps, a BIA, an Akemie's Taiko, a Rings, a QuBit Surface and a Noise Plethora with Percall. My question is not so much about the synthesis method itself--since I never had the chance to play the Plonk myself, I am asking more about the sonic ground Plonk could cover in addition to what I already have for percussive sound generators. Or, to put the question differently: How flexible is Plonk and how does it keep up with newer, percussion-oriented modules like Zaps?
