So I’m trying to figure out a solution for muting a pitch sequence that won’t mess it up by either bleeding some voltage through when muted or dropping the CV signal by enough to mess it up when fully open.
I’ve tried VCAs but so far have found that the exact voltage needed to open them to perfect unity will vary, so that’s no good. I have a happy Nerding 4x mutes but the voltage drop through the module is too much. I’ve got a mechanical switched mult from Intellijel that’ll definitely do the trick but it’s wee switches aren’t the best for performance.
The sequencer has a mute function built in, but I need to bump the pitch CV out from -5/+5v to 0-10v so muting still leaves me with a signal unfortunately.
Could someone with the DivKid mutes see if there’s any signal bleed or level drop? Any other performance oriented mute modules come to mind? I need 4 channels (2x gates and 2x pitch CV)
