General Gear • Keystep pro midi screwery

So I’ve boiled down an issue I have to my ksp. I’m sending midi to my manatee, and it seemed to work fine and then I’d get these clicky artifacts with when playing a few voices (5 or 6 keys), randomly, and sometimes a few seconds after I let go of the keys now. I tested the manatee with wavestate as controller and no issues.

Any guesses what could be causing the issue?
