Hi,
I'm looking for advice on triggering a Roland TD-4 brain module I happen to have from ages ago. Even if you don't have experience with the TD-4, other TD units would likely have overlap for sharing the know-how.
Would you have experience on compatible signal types (voltages, gate, pulses, rising edge/falling edge) etc... to trigger properly? Also, to take advantage of sensitivity to trigger various velocity levels of the sounds?
Also, if you might have suggestions on what combinations of signals are required to take advantage of things such as cross stick, rim shots, chokes on cymbals, and so on.
Thanks!
