I know two people who had their euroracks stolen over the past year, so I decided to register every single module with my insurance in case the unthinkable happens, so it's easier to register with police, to try to recover them, as well as deal with insurance.
What I've been finding is that many makers, including big ones like Intellijel (unless I'm missing it somewhere??), don't seem to have serial numbers on their modules or on the box. I know so many makers are just one person or tiny companies, but I humbly ask that everyone assign serial numbers to all of your modules and have it on the back somewhere, ideally etched or printed instead of a sticker. Thankfully many do, but quite a few don't.
If someone's gear gets stolen it can make all the difference for possibly getting it recovered, as well as helping with getting reimbursed from insurance.
Thank you!!!!
