Hi all,
I recently upgraded my Juno106 with the https://www.kiwitechnics.com/kiwi-106.htm-mod. Works like a charm, does everything it says, except for one thing:
Pressing the "Midi CH"-button should, according to the manual, function as a MIDI Panic button, which "will cancel any sounding notes, including internal and stop all output."
When I hook up my Kiwi-106's MIDI-OUT to my laptop, I can see in the MIDI Monitor that pressing the Midi CH-button indeed sends CC123, value 0 (All Notes Off), as supposed to.
However, somehow, it doesn't stop/kill my output. When I hold some notes or a chord, they keep on sounding, no matter how much I press the button.
Sending an external CC123 to my Kiwi106's MIDI In port also doesn't mute/stop sounds.
I'm in touch with Kiwitechnics (no complaints, great service), and he said that according to the code the Kiwi106 both sends and receives CC123 and if that doesn't stop all the internal notes, he would have to look into it, so I wondered: are there any other Kiwi106 owners out there who could give this a try and tell me if it works for them?
I'm on the latest firmware (2-26).
Much appreciated.
