With the Hypster 5U release coming here are some tips and tricks I use with the Jerkster and ChaQuO that should work with the Hypster. Ways of using chaos modules for things besides modulation.
Sequencing notes.
Tame: Chaos module to sample and hold or TGTSH clocked by a steady clock. Add quanizer if desired.
Tamer: Chaos module mixed with sequence to sample and hold or TGTSH to a quantizer clocked to sample by a steady clock.
Chaos: Chaos module to TGTSH using 2 different chaos outputs or to a sample and hold clocked by another chaos output run through a comparator or slope detector.
Timing
Chaos:
Chaos outputs to TGTSH or comparator or slope detector. Used to clock everything.
Tame: Chaos outputs to an lfo or universal slope generator cv input. Attenuate to taste. Clock everything from the output.
Tamer: Chaos outputs to TGTSH or comparator or slope detector to one input of a logic module. The other input is a steady clock. Use for grace notes or small variations.
