General Gear • Question about syncing drum machine to Rev2

I have a Rev2 with MIDI OUT going to MIDI IN2 of the Tanzbär drum machine. Rev2 is setup to send clock via the midi cable. Yet when I press play on the Rev2 the Tanzbär does not run.

What am I missing?

If I change so the computer send clock & midi, everything works.

Please help!!!
