I bought a bunch of these recently:

They don't seem to fit for filling out the "missing part" (too big), or pressed over the D shape itself either (too narrow inside) to make it 6.3 mm.
They are just slightly too big to fit in a regular 6.3 mm knob as well.![:doh:]( "d'oh!")
The store doesn't reply when I'm asking them.
