Turing Machine : Shift Register as a "digital random looper"
Rungler : Shift Register clocked by oscillator
Marbles : From what I can tell, mostly algorithmic methods of random
Whenever I've seen these compared, I've seen them mentioned as "totally different." So I'm curious... how many types of "random" exist without significant overlap?
There's also introducing random. So temperature, light, sound, bio sensors etc, can aid in this. But I'm curious about the modules that are outputting random in methods that are musical, somewhat musical or lend themselves to musicality. Not modules that are truly random without a way to shape their musicality built in.
