I have a Moskwa sequencer and the Ostankino Expander which has a Transpose input. I have a sequence in a minor scale that has a root note of 'A'. I want to transpose the sequence to a root note of 'C'. Basically to follow a chord pattern of A Minor to C Minor.
I'm not sure how best to go about it but I thought Ableton CV tools would be my best best. I thought I could use a square lfo but I'm struggling to know how much cv signal to send that equates to the correct amount of semitones plus not sure what tool would be best, I thought maybe I could be clever with the scale and pitch midi effects but I can't seem to figure out how I can mix those tools with the Audio cv utilities.
I'm sure I'm overthinking this, looking for the simplest way to just transpose a sequencer in semitones.
Also other than Ableton CV tools what module is my best bet for precisely transposing sequencers? I guess changing the pitch/root note on the oscillator could also be an option.
