For a long time now, the question of when Antonus will release a keyboard usually appears from time to time.
One of the issues with doing this is the initial investment and also making sure it makes sense to make and sell it.
So I will start collecting feedback here and if there is enough interest, we can start preparing an initial run with the support of first customers.
The list of features or details will be:
Based on the 3620 model, the appearance will be very similar but may have some differences to add some new features.
The new functions can be: Arpeggiator/Sequencer option (like KARP)
Sync clock input for sequencer / arpegiator
aftertouch output
Aftertouch to vibrato amount potentiometer
speed out
midi output
Cinch Jones out (for old ARP connection)
DC power input for independent operation
The control will transmit MIDI CC.
The arpeggio/sequencer will be transmitted via MIDI
Interval latch manual button / switch.
These are the initial ideas for new features. Any suggestion or ideas welcome.
The look will be very similar to the original design with two finish options; Tolex road case finish and metal case finish for a more affordable option.
Basically, with this design we want to cover the keyboard version for all Antonus 2600s, also to complete any missing keyboard from an old ARP2600 and also use it as a nice MIDI keyboard controller.
If there is enough interest we will start to make first drawings and evaluation the time and cost to have an idea of what final price will be.
