Hey there.
I was doing the slew rate mod on my Voyager today -- it involves removing three caps and changing some opamps. For shits and giggles I socketed one of the opamps (U68) in the VCO 2 circuit so I could see if I could hear a difference between:
1. The original TL074 that's in the schematic Bob approved in 2002.
2. The LM348 that Moog updated to sometime in the middle of production.
3. The MC33079 that's recommended in the slew rate mod.
This was a very silly and unscientific test but for the record my settings for each sound clip were:
Wave 81
Osc Mix 255
Filter Cutoff 255
Can you tell the difference?
