4U Format Modules + EMS • LA67 Series 100 - 155 Dual Integrator... uses & tips?

I recently added the 155 to my LA67 Series 100 case... OK, it looks like a basic Dual Function Generator, but it's not working the way I expected. Can any of you fine Buchla wizards point me in the right direction with this one, please? I'm struggling to get anything useful from it.

First of all, I had expected that it would cycle, possibly with the switch set to Internal. But no. And no EOC pulse out to feed back into itself like on the Verbos CVP, for instance. I tried feeding it pulses from the 123 but again I can't seem to generate a cycling Rise/Fall. Am I barking up the wrong tree here? Expecting it to do something its not designed to do? I'm used to a Rise/Fall cycle being triggered by a gate or pulse but from the black banana sockets this looks like its designed to work with cv signals?

The only info online says (The 155) "produces continuous control voltage functions when used in conjunction with sources of discrete control voltages (e.g. keyboards, sequencers)"

Feeding it a static voltage doesn't seem to do anything. Similarly feeding it varying voltages eg a sequence just seems to produce a voltage offset at the output. If I send a triggering A/D envelope to the input I can kind of hear something changing when I move the Rise/Fall pots. Is it more like an envelope follower? eg it applies the rise/fall values to a voltage shape presented at the Input, and outputs the combination at the output?

Is there a way I can patch it to cycle like a Maths or Serge DUSG? Thats what I was hoping for, but I'm scratching my head with this one.
