The rubber buttons on the Six-Trak are known to be a source of problem with the years. A real pita actually.
I remember in the 90's to get them back to action I was from time to time rubbing some pencil on the contacts and it helped for a while.
Today I'm servicing the Six-Trak after many years of storage and the rubber buttons are worse than ever. Some do not even react anymore, no matter how much pressure is used on the button.
What do you think: should I buy and try some graphite grease for instance, applied on rubber buttons and on the PCB contacts?
Not sure if graphite paste would be better or too thick maybe?
