I've recently moved into a studio space and have the space to set my hardware up again. I've set up the
ESX-8MD the way I've always had it. All the plugins on one track with a external audio effect at the end. Everything seems to work but I'm going down the rabbit hole again of zooming in and looking at milliseconds once again. Which I must stop and make some music!
Now that I've upgraded to Live 12 there's the Keep Latency feature on the audio tracks. I was just wondering if there's any adaptions to the way you set stuff up in 12? Whether you have this feature switched on or off on the certain tracks?
Also if I'm sending midi notes from a track via the ESX-8MD. Can I compensate for the hardware latency on that midi track using the track delay? Seen someone do it on a video but it wasn't using the Expert Sleepers.
I just like to get everything set the best I can, otherwise it bugs me till I know for sure, ha.
Any advise would be great, thanks.
