YouTube recommended this to me tonight, an actual modern demo of the Gleeman Pentaphonic synthesizer. For those not familiar with it the Pentaphonic was developed by a pair of California brothers at the beginning of the '80s and eventually made in tiny numbers circa 1982. It's generally believed that 30 in black cases and 20 in clear cases were produced during its very short production run. As the name implies it had 5 voices, combining analog oscillators and filters with digital envelopes and other control functions.
