General Gear • Roland TR-606 Resto - Replacement Pot Recommendations for Instrument Voices?

Hello again Wigglers,

Hopefully a quick question here. I'm currently restoring a TR-606 that I recently picked up from the classifieds listed as broken.

I thought it was back to 100% after I fixed the memory chips corroded legs, replaced all the tact switches and added a lithium battery back-up to the memory chips. But no...

The pot that controls the OH/CH is now cactus; it looks like the plastic hub that holds the contacts against the carbon tracks has worn through the copper traces on the PCB and broken the circuit.

Has anyone found new pots that are a suitable replacement for the originals? I'm mostly concerned about getting something with the same feel (rotational torque values?) and that will be a straight-ish swap for the old pot i.e. has the soldered lugs to secure them to the PCB. There's a few for sale on eBay, but I just can't bring myself to pay USD $70 inc. postage for $18 worth of pots from Mouser/Digikey.

Thoughts welcome. Thanks in advance!
